FMF PIZZA BASE MIX
INGREDIENTS

FMF Pizza Base Mix 250g or 1 ½ Cup

Dry Yeast 1.5g or ½ tsp

Oil 5mls or 1tsp

Cold Water 150mls or ½ cup
DIRECTIONS Stove Top method

Combine FMF Pizza Base Mix, Yeast, Oil in a mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Add water and use a spoon to combine the mixture. Use your hands to bring the dough together in a bowl.

Turn the dough on a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Mould the dough into a round ball and allow it to rest for 5-10minutes.

Roll out the dough to approximately 9-10 inch diameter and thickness of 4-5mm.

Grease a griddle with oil. Place the griddle on the stove at medium heat. Place the rolled dough on top of the griddle and lower the heat of the stove. Cook the base on one side for 5 minutes or until turns light brown in color. Then turn the base on other side and do the same.

Add tomato puree and toppings of your choice! Cover the Pizza with Lid or pot to retain the heat inside throughout for better cooking. On low heat cook the pizza for 10-15 minutes.

Pizza is ready to serve.

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Add tomato puree and toppings of your choice! Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes.

NOTE

Tip: To ensure the dough doesn't form air pockets, use a fork to prick the dough all around (gently so you do not poke holes all the way through the crust).
