PEA BESAN BARFI

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Cup FMF Pea Besan

  • 1/3 Cup Ghee/Butter

  • ½ Tin Condensed Milk

  • ¼ Cup Desiccated Coconut + 1 Teaspoon for garnishing

  • ½ Cup Milk

  •  Cardamom powder

DIRECTIONS
  • In a non - stick pan melt ghee and when it's hot then reduce the heat and add FMF Pea Besan and roast it for 5-7 minutes on low flame until it develops a nice nutty flavor.

  • Keep stirring so that it does not form any lumps and after some time its texture will start to resemble like bread crumbs.

  • Add in some desiccated coconut and give it a stir. Do not cook much otherwise the coconut will burn.

  • Immediately add condensed milk, milk, and cardamom powder to it.

  • Keep stirring until it starts to thicken and doesn't stick to pan.

  • Put the mixture on a greased plate and spread it evenly.

  • Garnish it with desiccated coconut and let it set.

  • After the mixture sets and cools down completely, cut it into small squares or any desired shape and your barfi is ready to serve.
